It's hard to think of a video game in recent years with the scope of Among Us turning into a Manga. As the pandemic began to quarantine people around the world, online multiplayer became an option for millions. The game helped connect players at an unprecedented time, and its success has only grown since then. And now, a new report has confirmed that Among Us is getting a manga?!
The update was released today, courtesy of H2 Interactive abroad. The Twitter page shared a teaser about one of the top manga magazines, and it was there that fans saw an announcement about Among Us. And after the preview went viral, Innersloth took to Twitter to confirm that a one-shot of the manga is on the way.
Surprise,” Inersloth shared. “Among Us will have a one-shot manga in the magazine Bessatsu Corocoro in April 2022.”

At this point, we don't know much about the one-shot, but fans are eager to see how Among Us makes that change. There are currently no plans to continue the one-shot, but Corocoro has listed it in their upcoming series.
If the reception is good, more could come later, which would certainly delight fans of the game. Among Us has very loose knowledge, so the manga has a lot of room to solidify the stories. I'd love nothing more than to learn the story of the game's shape-shifting aliens and why they're bent on eating our crew members.
If you want to participate in this manga release, Bessatsu Corocoro will release the one-shot soon, but there is no word on whether it will be released in the United States. The magazine doesn't have a simultaneous publishing deal like Shueisha or Kodansha, but between us it's big enough to carry out a translation! We can only cross our fingers for now and hope this manga answers more questions than it brings up.
