Microsoft's gradual buildup of Activision Blizzard, and even the Bethesda, could spell a big problem for PlayStation fans. So with some games that could be Xbox exclusives, I'll list here, 10 that we may never see again on Sony hardware.
However, it would not be an exaggeration to say that the world was shell-shocked after the surprising news! With the sudden report of Microsoft's ongoing acquisition of Activision Blizzard. The nearly US$ 70 billion deal shook the gaming world to its core.
In addition to the financial implications for all parties, there could be long-term concerns for the rival's owners. That's right, Microsoft will presumably add Activision Blizzard to the Bethesda purchase in 2021, which means the company will have the rights to a whole smorgasbord of the biggest gaming brands.

For PlayStation loyalists, this could be a big problem if they hope to play certain franchises in the future. So, I chose 10 gigantic names that could fall victim to console exclusivity! Ultimately, leaving many Sony fans disappointed.
10. Crash Bandicoot
It would be unthinkable to suggest that the most famous orange character in the games would become a permanent employee as part of Xbox exclusives. But it could be the case. Crash could very well become one of several franchises that will earn a fixed place on Microsoft's money train. After all, with the success of N.Sane Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot 4, any other releases could be coming to the X-boxes.
9. The Elder Scrolls
It's almost official that The Elder Scrolls VI will be settling into Microsoft's camp and nowhere else. So if that's the case, there would be no reason for any future Elder Scrolls releases to see a simultaneous offering on PlayStation.
8. Overwatch
Overwatch is a solid game on PS4 and has proven to be very popular. However, Overwatch 2 seems to be stuck in some sort of hell. Its projected release date keeps getting pushed back constantly, but it will still be available to PS4 and PS5 users. Playing Overwatch 2 is something the world needs, but if there is a third entry it could be the end of the road for Sony.
7. Guitar Hero
Guitar Hero has been resurrected more times than Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger combined. After all, this iconic music game is set to reappear in the public spotlight once again. Microsoft could easily use Guitar Hero as bait for some additional sales.
6. Devil
It's been 10 years since the release of Diablo 3, a hugely successful game that generated millions of dollars through millions of copies sold. PlayStation was able to testify to its greatness through a release and remakes of Diablo 3. Diablo 4 has been confirmed for PlayStation, but it may also be the last to do so.
5. DOOM
Well, is the DOOM 2016 reboot supposed to be one of the best reboots of all time? Certainly? After all, dispensing with the survival-horror elements of DOOM 3. DOOM: Eternal did all that and added a hook! But with DOOM 3 on the horizon and Bethesda under Microsoft ownership, was eternal the last new DOOM game we'll see on PlayStation?
4. Spyro The Dragon
They wouldn't, they couldn't, they shouldn't...but they could. Spyro is another beloved child figure that is known to gamers and casuals alike the world over!
PS5, PS6, PS7, etc. Users may have to invest in the green mark if they want to set any new sheep on fire thanks to a potential and draconian separation of Spyro from PlayStation.
3. Fallout
With The Elder Scrolls and Starfield presumably the main focus in terms of Bethesda's sprawling RPGs, there's every chance that Microsoft will really set the world on fire by taking Fallout away from Sony.
2. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 HD remaster saved the skate series from abject limbo. With that said, don't be surprised if Microsoft forces the series to pave the way for exclusivity.

So, despite assurances that Call of Duty will remain sold out for PlayStation, everything can change at the click of a finger. That is, truth be told, no one knows about any possible vitriol and bitterness behind the scenes. Microsoft could take CoD away from Sony, just because sony has had exclusive rights to Call of Duty content for several years and sells millions of copies of the brand every year. So when you consider Warzone's micro transactions, Microsoft can recoup a good amount of that $$ 70 billion investment through CoD alone.

However, in case you're wondering how the process works, here's the thing. By officially owning Activision Blizzard and Bethesda, Microsoft is in control of each company's releases and on which platform they can be published. As an example, it has already been confirmed that Bethesda's Starfield project will release as Xbox exclusives.
Furthermore, it was also said by Microsoft CEO Phil Spencer as: "I'm just going to say to gamers who are playing Activision Blizzard games on Sony's platform: It's not our intention to alienate communities from that platform and we remain committed to that." But, as with everything, never say never.
