Today we will see a little about God in One Punch Man and let's see why he won the title of villain that matches his opponent, worthy of Saitama. In addition to this villain still being quite mysterious in the manga, the few times he appears he makes it very clear why he has this title.
OPM is an anime of the action, comedy and superhero genre that has gained a legion of fans in recent years. You can currently watch it on both Netflix and Crunchyroll.
The anime already has two seasons available with a forecast for the third, which technically would be where the villain God would appear with all his power and supremacy, thus making a villain who could have the potential to overcome Saitama. See more in this video below from Canal EiNerd.

The Almighty God from One Punch Man
Villains are classified into several categories where the highest of these categories and the one that could give the heroes the most work would be the god level classification and so far none of these already similar villains in the work has come close to being the greatest villain of all. Except, God had his first appearance in chapter 109 of the OPM manga.
Some of the villains gained a lot of prominence such as the s-class villains such as Blast, Tornado of Terror also known as Tatsumaki, Silver Fang, Atomic Samurai, Metal Knight and many others such as the one responsible for destroying the city THE.
These were some class S villains who gave a lot of work to the heroes of city A, even so they were not the most powerful of the villains after all, the purpose of this post is to talk precisely about this villain who is the entity that granted the Beggar Emperor his powers and he was responsible for turning me from a homeless person into a “Disaster Level: Dragon” monster.
Furthermore, the Beggar Emperor was responsible for defeating many top tier heroes, i.e. A-class heroes even some S-class ones.
Appearance for Saitama
After his first appearance God finally appeared to Saitama just after they had touched a strange object in the shape of a cube and thus were able to hear God's voice in their heads. He offers them to make an "earnest wish" in order to know if they were worthy to receive his power, or in his words "worthy vessels".
So that you can better understand God is a very powerful entity that if it is his will he grants powers to his receptacles although in his case it is not in the form of possession.
He only cedes part of his power so that whoever receives his power can somehow fulfill his ideals. So much so that the Beggar Emperor received his power precisely because of his ideals since he had an aversion to how humanity has fared in general.
Theories: Is God the Supreme Being?
It is also worth mentioning that there are some theories in OPM that in fact God is not a single being but a race however they are only speculations since neither in the manga nor in the anime is this shown, although this celestial being appears only for whom he wants.
That said, the means by which God acts is practically through contact with his cubes, however these powers of his come with a price, something he calls "confiscation" as demonstrated in chapter 153 of the manga where he also appears in his real size.
When the Beggar Emperor was being questioned by the hero Zombieman, it was mentioned as the source of his powers and before he could reveal anything else a colossal being appeared on the moon.
And so, the Beggar Emperor saw just like that in a front garden a gigantic being that took his powers from his life, and thus hinted that this being was God. Did you like this theme? If yes, also see what they are top 10 anime.
