We have reached the end of another anime season! And many animes ended for the unhappiness of some. Horimiya comes to an end, one of the best anime of the last season. But, not because it's big, or has a lot of fighting or just a beautiful look. It's much more than that, after all we're talking about Horimiya, which is a novel adaptation.
The Horimiya anime comes to an end in episode 13 and what an ending my friends! After all, it was very emotional, I even cried watching it, if you don't, you have to watch it again. One of the best romance and school anime and that we were also needing for some time already on the market. Entertaining, everything that is good lasts a short time, after all it has to make room for other new animes.
We had a lot of very good animes, which ended and some of them with bombastic revelation outside of excellent graphic animation. How Kaisen Jujutsu for example, an unknown manga whose now surpasses sales records whose anime animation. With Horimiya it couldn't be different, even with the end of the anime in episode 13.

I have to admit that I never really understood high school nostalgia or being sad about graduating – when I graduated from high school, I felt like maybe everything would finally be okay. But that’s obviously not going to be the case for Miyamura! Because for him, high school was when he finally felt like he was given permission to be himself!
And as much as their relationship turned sour for viewers, Hori was a big part of that for him. His first friendship and later dating her showed Miyamura that there were people out there who would look beyond the walls he put up! And, more than that, they wouldn't be scared by the person they found behind them.
Before meeting Hori, Miyamura was a master of camouflage! His long hair and glasses hid him from the students' eyes, while his piercings and tattoos worked in the same way as coloring a poison frog – warning people to stay away. Hori was the first person in high school to recognize that none of the appearances were a true representation of Miyamura, helping him to feel comfortable in his own skin and to diversify and make other friends. If Horimiya, as a story, has a great strength, this is it.

Also, here is a great detail of the work, specifically about Miyamura. His journey wasn't just to find love; it's about overcoming your feelings of unworthiness and your anxiety brought on by your high school experience. When his high school self says he's going to disappear, it doesn't mean that Miyamura, as he is now, will forget what happened.
It is more because it will no longer be the lens through which he sees the world, a point in his life that he is ready to relegate to the past. High school ends. High school ends. Those aren't bad things, and for Miyamura, wondering where everything has suddenly gone right for him, this might seem like just another step towards a future he's feeling better for.
