When the iCarly Revival was announced, the internet "freaked out", and it's not for that, after all, iCarly was in the childhood of many people, especially here in Brazil. However, in the midst of happiness about the return of the much-loved series, even if it is only in a special, something left fans worried... With the announcement of the cast that would return to relive their roles, one of the protagonists and most beloved characters in the series to Sam, his name has not been confirmed.

Why doesn't Sam return to iCarly? bullshit?
With something like this happening, what many initially think is that there was some bullshit, whether internal, some scandal, some disagreement or dissatisfaction regarding salaries, but that was not the case. what took Jennette McCurdy not to return to the iCarly Revival as Sam is personal dissatisfaction.
Jennette began her career as an actress at a very young age, before she could even choose if that was what she wanted in her life. However, as she came from a humble family, supported mainly thanks to her salary as an actress, she continued her career.
But she was not satisfied with this career, even feeling ashamed of the roles she played. She began to rethink her career as an actress after the death of her mother, a very difficult period in her life, including one where she had to battle alcoholism.
The actress herself revealed this in her podcast. Empty Inside, who thanks to that has his acting career on pause indefinitely. Check out the actress' statement below:
“I started influenced by my mother when I was 6 years old. At the age of 10, I was the main breadwinner for my family. I'm ashamed of the characters I lived in the past. I have many resentments. I've never felt satisfied with the roles I've had, I've seen them as embarrassing since I was 15. I imagine it's a different experience to be proud of your work.”

Sam on iCarly
Sam had a prominent role in iCarly, including being the character preferred by many fans of the series. She played a key role in the plot, as Carly's best friend, and sharing the stage on the web show Icarly.
iCarly was very successful since its launch, between the years 2005 and 2012, therefore winning a Revival 9 years after its end! What demonstrates the success of Sam in iCarly is that the actress returned in the spin-off of the series and revived her character in Sam & Cat alongside Ariana Grande, although it was only for 1 season.
Revival Paramount+
Paramount is producing a Revival for iClary. She returns to reprise her roles Miranda Cosgrove (Carly), Jerry Trainor (Spencer) and Nathan Kress (Freddie), with the addition of some new characters, although there is still not much information regarding which role they will play.
