The Mortal Kombat universe will get a new chance and face in world cinemas, with a reboot of the film this time with production by James Wan, who has extensive experience with horror films. The feature is expected to arrive both in theaters and on HBO Max on April 12, although the date is close little was known about the reboot... But this Friday the 15th images of the production were revealed.

The film, which is a reboot of the feature released in 1995, will tell the story of Hanzo Hasahi, and Bi-han, who are respectively Sub-Zero and Scorpion before they acquired their powers. Simon McQuoid is in charge of directing the film, who has promised that the film will be inappropriate for children under 13. That is, we can expect a lot of action and blood from a Mortal Kombat movie.
What reinforces that the film will be full of fan service is the director's speech.
