Amazon has announced that one of its most successful series The Boys, which even though its second season has not yet been released, the series has already been renewed for its Third Season! The announcement was made on the Amazon panel at Comi-Con@Home this Thursday.
The Boys is one of the most prominent series produced by Amazon today. Since the first season was released in July 2019, it has become a phenomenon. And such success was reflected, with the series already being renewed for its Third Season, a little more than 1 month before the premiere of the Second.
The Renewal Announcement
The announcement about the renewal of the series continuity was made during Comic-Con, which as had its first face-to-face event called off due to the Pandemic, so this time the event was held 100% online, open to all audiences. The announcement was made at the Amazon panel, with the presence of the cast of The Boys.
Amazon, in a bold and historic effort to expand its 'weird' audience, has authorized the third season of The Boys! The writers and I worked hard in the (virtual) writers' room, and we're sorry to say that the world has given us too much material. We hope to shoot in early 2021, but that depends on a microscopic virus. As if that wasn't enough, we're bringing you an aftershow in season two, Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys. Hosted by the incomparable Aisha Tyler and guests of the cast and crew, the show is an in-depth look at how we do these insane things. Thanks to Sony, Amazon and the fans. We really enjoyed making this show and are excited to be able to continue doing it.

In the same way that the renewal of the series for its third season was announced, it was also announced that The Boys will win a show that will take place after the broadcast of each episode of the second season. Which will work as a behind-the-scenes visit to how the series is produced, with the presence of cast members.
The Boys Season Two
The Boys Season Two is scheduled to start being posted in the Prime Video from September 4, 2020, where the first 3 episodes of the season will be added. As for the following episodes, one will be added every Friday, until it concludes on October 9th.
Regarding her, according to actor Jack Quaid, promises to be even more insane than the first. Which makes fans even more crazy to watch, since the first one was marked by a lot of “insanity”.
