Many like The Flash, the series went on for a long time, and has been gaining fame and notoriety. The fans like it a lot, and with that said, I'll leave some relevant information about the new episode that is about to arrive.
Well, recently A CW released the new synopsis of “Into the Still Force”, which is the fifteenth episode of the eighth season of The Flash! Also, know that the episode airs on Wednesday, May 18. With some intense episodes coming up as Team Flash deals with Deathstorm (Robbie Amell) - specifically next week's "Death Falls" and episode after that, "Funeral For a Friend" - it looks like things might calm down a bit for the heroes.
With all of this, we see that the description provokes the return of Nora West-Allen/XS (Jessica Parker Kennedy), who helps The Flash (Grant Gustin), while the CCPD needs the help of Chester (Brandon McKnight). You can check out the synopsis for yourself below.
EP ERIC WALLACE DIRECTS – The Flash (Grant Gustin) gets an assist from XS (guest star Jessica Parker Kennedy). Meanwhile, the CCPD turns to Chester (Brandon McKnight) for help when a mysterious device is found at the crime scene. The series also stars Jesse L. Martin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Danielle Nicolet and Kayla Compton. Executive producer and showrunner Eric Wallace directed the episode written by Lauren Barnett and Christina M. Walker.
No mention of Iris in The Flash
While the synopsis makes no mention of Iris (Candice Patton), the episode's title may leave something to suggest that the help the Flash receives is in relation to Iris' time sickness.
Being a mysterious illness that Iris has been suffering from, it ended up becoming a major component of Season 8. Additionally, the latest episode revealed that whatever is happening to Iris has started to impact more than just her. Deon, the embodiment of Still Force, is also infected now. However, the showrunner Eric Wallace has promised that Iris' weather sickness will be resolved this season.
"We're going to explore that and work it out for the rest of the season, but we're always sticking to our graphic novel format," Wallace said of Iris' time sickness. “So 'Armageddon' was the first season 8 graphic novel on The Flash, so we have our first interlude episode as we like to call them – these are more standalone episodes, and we will have some of those. And so our next graphic novel will kick off mid-season with a new Big Bad. And there really will be another one at the end of the season. Let's try something new this year with three graphic novels. Let's see how much action we can pack into Season 8. It's going to be a pretty crazy ride, but I have to warn people that what's coming emotionally is going to change Team Flash permanently. And I'm not kidding.”
Also on Netflix
For those who do not have access to more than one streaming platform, and perhaps the pioneer of this type of service. Know that The Flash is available on Netflix until the seventh season! In other words, you can follow the story on about 90% so far only through one place. And if you want to migrate to other places to watch the eighth season, you will have already seen almost everything you are entitled to, just in one place.
The Flash airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW. “Into the Still Force” airs May 18.
