But is it safe?
There are some caveats when it comes to the security of the app, even though people who have used it for a certain time, don't get to complain about it. In fact, it is not very recommended, even by Google itself, not to install applications that come from outside the Play Store. After all, even in it there are some malicious applications, those that come from the outside have no guarantee that they are not.
It is not an authorized version of WhatsApp, and even if it displays the same source code, that is, which would guarantee that the same security that exists in the official one would also be in it… several modifications are made to the code, which makes this argument not have much validity.
WhatsApp GB does not have a signature on who is responsible for it, if you click on the download link, you will see that it will be taken to a website with the writings all in Arabic, with no guarantee of security!
However, even with reasons that would make someone not choose to use it, I don't remember anyone who has used it, and has made complaints about their privacy, integrity of their device, etc. So if you want to use it, do it at your own risk!
But one piece of information that cannot be left out is that, among WhatsApp's rules, there is one related to the prohibition of downloading modified versions of the application. Therefore, if you use these Apps, you may end up having your official WhatsApp account banned!
