Something that hooks fans is the story about what is being seen. That is, the story of Avatar 2 seems to have more details than its predecessor in almost every aspect! While Avatar had a fairly straightforward narrative, the sequel promises complexity. Bringing in human heroes and Na'vi villains. The main focus of the new story is family, specifically the family of Jake and Neytiri, the two protagonists of the first film.
The plot, broadly speaking, will involve them being forced to leave their home and head to regions of Pandora that haven't been shown on screen before. A big part of the story's theme will be about how far people will go to keep their family together - an interesting concept given that, in the new story, Neytiri and Jake will have an adopted human son in their family by the name of Spider. This added emotional depth should help lift the film above some of the less-praised aspects of the original Avatar.
Bringing Pandora's New Ocean World
Avatar 2 brings with it a detail that will delight everyone, presenting us with the highlights of the oceans, with extensive sections of the story on Pandora's beaches and underwater. In addition, Cameron has already mentioned in interviews that the intention is to present something similar to the floating mountains of the original film. So, things with a visually spectacular environment, but also as a setting for the return of the story.

The return of Sigourney Weaver suggests that Dr. Grace Augustine may have somehow survived the events of the first film.
So overall Avatar 2 promises to be as visually spectacular as the original movie, if not better! And of course, this while giving a much more detailed story. Lastly, Cameron reportedly left some scenes in the original move specifically to lead up to the sequel. Well, some have been questioning whether or not the box office performance of Avatar 2 can beat the original Avatar, that we will only know when the movie comes out.
