Resident Evil reboot, in theaters later this year. One of the longest-running franchises, with 6 films. But although the films aren't all bad, they didn't really please fans due to the fact that it wasn't a very faithful adaptation of their original work, the Universe created by Capcom in the franchise's games.
However, all that will change with the new feature that comes out now in September. But what makes you believe this? It's the fact that this new reboot has no connection with the 6 movies already released so far. And yes, it is a complete reboot that will seek greater fidelity with the original content, present in the games. Although there is not much information about the work, part of the cast and their respective character allows us to believe that this will really happen with the protagonists being played by Kaya Scodelario (Claire), Hannah John-Kamen (Jil), Robbie Amell (Chris) and Avan Jogia (Leon).
Anyway, now that the film already has a fixed date to premiere in American cinemas, there's only one very important thing missing too… A trailer! After all, until he leaves, we can expect everything and nothing at the same time from the work, without any knowledge of the characterization of the characters, and narrative elements. But everything leads to believe that very soon we will have at least one teaser preparing us and raising the hype for the feature.
25 years of Resident Evil
The year the Resident Evil Franchise Movies Reboot will be released is also the year she celebrates her 25th birthday! This year will also see 2 new games coming out, Resident Evil Village and RE: Verse. But that we also have Netflix producing two original series about the franchise. Series of which one has no information, and another that will take place in two different moments, before and after the global contamination of the T-Virus. This is really a great year for the franchise, which, although it has 25 years of existence, continues to grow more and more!
