After the confirmation of the existence, after several rumors, several even… The officialization of the Snyder Cut brought to fans of the DC movie universe a new hope, after the fiasco of the version of the movie directed by Joss Whedon that did not please most fans and critics, mainly because of Superman's blessed mustache (how they managed to do that at the time of CGI gold ???). But, vent aside, after the official existence and the information that the feature would be released on HBO Max this year, fans wanted more and more information about it.
And over the months a lot of information was coming in about Snyder's version of Justice League, promotional images, teaser trailers that left fans in an uproar, agitated and anxious… But the main thing was still missing, a release date. And finally, the date of arrival of the feature on Warner's Streaming is revealed.
When does Justice League arrive?
Justice League in Snyder's version will arrive exclusively on HBO Max on the day March 18, 2021! In other words, none of the movie on the big screen, at least for now. The film will arrive exclusively on HBO Max as a way of promoting the streaming service as a way of attracting new users. Another big reason not to go to theaters is its duration, after all the movie will have 4 hours of duration!
All that length is because Snyder planned the movie as two parts. However, with his departure from the direction of the film, and with Joss Whedon taking over the direction and complying with all the demands of Warner, the feature had its duration reduced. What made the film very rushed, with no time for better development, something we expect from the new version.
Zack Snyder stated that although the film will indeed be darker than his films usually are. This time he's going to “soften up” a little, especially after the various criticisms. Among the differences of the films we will have:
- A darker theme.
- A greater depth in relation to Cyborg, a better development of the character.
- More previously cut Heroes! For example the Martian Manhunter, which was present in the movie, but which was strengthened.
- A reduction, cut, in supporting characters.[
