5- He is not an Avenger
I'm going to start this list with 5 amazing facts about Doctor Tin telling one that may seem like a lie, but it's true. Doctor Strange is not considered an Avenger, let alone part of the most important group so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Of course, in "Infinity War" and in "Endgame" he fought alongside the Avengers, but that doesn't mean he's part of the Group. And that doesn't just happen in theaters, because in the comics, his name is even conveyed to some superhero groups, but not to the Avengers.
4- He Won a Movie in the 70s
Anyone who believes that the Doctor Strange Movie released there in 2016 was the first superhero movie is wrong, as this is not true. Because in the late 70's Doctor Strange got a TV adaptation, I'll bet anyone you probably didn't know that.
And the same had a pilot episode in 1978 with 93 minutes in length, which would actually be a series, but the project was not taken forward by CBS. Remembering that Stephen Strange had been played by Peter Hooten and many considered the production similar to a cheap porn movie, can you believe it?
3- It's Practically Immortal
Well, from the curiosities about Doctor Strange that I'm telling you, this one only those who really enjoy his comics should know. For know that he is technically immortal, so does that mean he will never die and thus live forever? Well, the answer I have to give you is No, and I will explain everything about his near-immortality in the comics.
In Doctor Strange #4, 1974 HQ, Doctor Strange comes across the personification of Death and fights against it. And in the fight he remembers one of the Elder's teachings, where he says that "death is just another part of life".
He then decides to stop fighting and lets himself be overcome by death, soon after he wakes up in a void and guess who was there? The Elder. And the Ancient One says that he has passed for the first time the series of tests he must face as Sorcerer Supreme. As a result of his surrender to Death, Doctor Strange is now unable to age.
2- Already Defeated Galactus
In cinemas we still haven't seen the real dimension of his powers, but anyone who is a fan of the comics already knows what Doctor Strange is capable of. His power in the Comics is so great, that at one point he even managed to defeat Galactus the Planet Eater.
And this happened in Fantastic Four #243, where in a fight the Avengers and the Fantastic Four joined forces against Galactus. But who ended up dealing the final and decisive blow to Galactus, completely changing the course of the battle was Doctor Strange.
1- Had His Power Nerfed
I'll end this list of 5 amazing facts about Doctor Strange by telling you one that you may have already noticed. And this curiosity is about his powers, the cinemas, for example, haven't shown yet everything he's capable of.
And he was also nerfed in the comics, where as soon as he appeared, he fights on equal terms with various cosmic entities, but... After a few years we can see in some moments of the comics Stephen Strange being beaten even by Ninjas.
