The second season of Cosmos was scheduled to arrive in the first half of 2019. But unfortunately for the sadness of the fans (including me of course), some controversy involving the scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson, presenter of the series, delayed the production of the same.
But we finally have an official date, Cosmos: Possible Worlds premieres in March 2020, more precisely on the 9th. It is the second season of “Cosmos” presented by Tyson, a sequel. But considering the first and original presented by Carl Sagan, will be the third season of Cosmos.

the first season Cosmos presented and produced by Carl Sagan and his wife Ann Druyan, had its original premiere on September 28, 1980. Cosmos: A Space-Time Odyssey had its premiere on March 9, 2014 and in Brazil on March 13 of the same year.
The second brought us updates regarding advances and new discoveries in science, being a rereading of the first. While limitations exist in the first season based on mockups. With the audio visual advancement of computer graphics, it provided us with a journey through the wonderful “ship of imagination” in the second season. With the ship taking us through the entire cosmic calendar throughout its 13 episodes. Which leads us to expect a lot about the third one, which according to director and producer Ann Druyan will be the most daring of all and that the ship will take us to unimaginable places.
