We all know that the year 2020 came in the form of turmoil for the whole world because of the Pandemic. Several companies had to close their doors or temporarily stop their operation and one of the most famous parks in the world was no exception. Yes, I'm talking about the Walt Disney World parks, which has as one of its main characters our dear Mickey Mouse.
Well, Walt Disney World began its gradual opening in mid-July, but all four of its Disney theme parks weren't working yet. This Pandemic has brought a loss of US$ 3.5 billion to Wald Disney Word's coffers.

When Will Disney Parks Really Reopen?
All four theme parks in this complex located in Orlando will reopen from September 8th to October, but we cannot fail to mention that they will be open at reduced hours.
Disney has yet to say whether after October people will still be able to see Mickey and all his friends in the park. But apparently, when the month of October arrives, the company will readjust its opening hours.
So far what we know is that the parks Disney's Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom will close an hour earlier than usual. The parks Disney's Animal Kingdom and Epcot will run two hours earlier than usual.
In all, Disney parks were closed for 60 days, and as I had already said, last month their reopening began. This reopening has been happening in phases and strictly following the hygiene criteria, obviously, visitors have to go with masks. However, to avoid a high flow of people, visitors have to book a visit in advance, visitor numbers have been greatly reduced.
So far no one knows for sure how many people are going there, but it is estimated that it is around 30% of its capacity.
Other Impacts Disney Has Suffered
As we know, Disney doesn't just own the Walt Disney World parks, it also has other projects. What started a few decades ago with Mickey Mouse, today is a phenomenon with several other audiovisual productions. Disney even bought Marvel and turned it into a box office phenomenon in theaters.
Speaking of Marvel, many MCU movies were going to debut this year in theaters, but ended up being postponed.
