In the world a Social Network called TikTok became a fever, but she ended up being banned from the USA and for that she may sue the country. Yes, it seems that TikTok will actually be banned from the US and that already has a date to happen, September 20th.
An executive order has already been issued and it says TikTok has until September 20th to withdraw from the US. But it appears the company intends to file a federal lawsuit today (August 11) in a California District Court. Even the TikTok Headquarters in the United States is precisely in California, that is, there it intends to question the measure adopted by Trump.

Why Does Donald Trump Want to Ban TikTok?

First of all, I want to say that TikTok has already been officially banned in India, the country has already removed it from its app stores. In addition to the United States, Australia is also considering banning the Social Network in its country.
TikTok is a Chinese application and it is not new that the United States and China have been fighting a technological war. Because it is a Chinese app and with many things still unrevealed about it, the US wants TikTok to be Banned. Donald Trump has been alleging possible Chinese espionage and fears that Americans' personal data will be exposed.
Having nothing concrete in this US accusation, TikTok in turn intends to sue the country. According to NPR, which published the information, TikTok will claim that the decision is unconstitutional because there was no room for defense. And as I've said before, TikTok also intends to argue that nothing has been evidenced about the risk to national security and its users.
Will TikTok Really Sue the US?
About TikTok suing the US, the Chinese company has not yet officially expressed itself, but claims that Donald Trump's decision was inadmissible.
It is also worth noting that if the process is opened, Branca Evita will comment on how it will act, but again pointed out the possible risks that the social network supposedly has.

Origin of TikTok
TikTok is originally 3 different apps, I will explain.
Do you remember Musical.ly? It was an American app that emerged in 2014 in the United States of America.
In 2016 ByteDance, a Chinese technology company launched Douyin, an App similar to Musical.ly, in China.
ByteDance has expanded globally under a different name: TikTok.
Coming in 2018, ByteDance bought Musical.ly and merged the two apps.
In other words, it is currently a Chinese company that is behind this application. She even tried to distance the app from her Chinese ownership by naming the former senior executive of disney as chief executive of TikTok.
The Social Network currently collects data such as which videos are watched and commented on, location data, phone model and operating system used, and even users' typing pace when using keys.
