About the Studio…
Although it's not news to anyone about the movies, let's talk a little about this wonderful studio.
The studio was founded in 1985 and is based in Koganei, Tokyo. It was founded in 1985 by Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata, Toshio Suzuki and Yasuyoshi Tokuma. The first film produced by the glibli studio was The Castle in the Sky in 1986 and finally the last being Marnie's Memoirs in 2014.
Although oriental cinema does not have much visibility in the east, the Glibli studio breaks the barrier/border as it has worldwide acclaim. In addition, it is the only non-English-speaking studio to have won the Oscar for best animated feature for Spirited Away. Surely such a feat only reinforces the quality of the studio.
