Manhwa is a Korean term designated for comic books. In Japan, the mangas are read and produced in a right-to-left reading form, but in Korea the readings follow the pattern western, which goes from left to right.
Over the last few years, manhwas have gained a lot of popularity in Brazil. In 2004, Conrad launched Chonchu in Brazil – the cursed warrior, the first Korean comic published in the country. In the same year, Ragnarok, by Lee Myung-Jin, arrived through the same publishing house as Chonchu, diversifying, even if a little, the Korean publishing scene.

1st Solo Leveling
Starting with style, by far, Solo Leveling is one of the favorite works among fans. Both the graphic quality and the story captivate the reader. In the plot, since a portal that connects our world to another full of monsters and creatures of all kinds appeared, some people with superhuman powers and abilities appeared, the so-called hunters.
The protagonist, Sung Jin-Woo is considered to be the weakest of the Korean hunters, until he and other hunters find themselves trapped in an extremely dangerous dungeon, and only a few of them survive. After managing to survive, Sung Jin-Woo begins to receive special missions and begins his climb in power to the top of the world hunters.
2° The God of Highschool
In God of Highschool, Jin-Mori is a young man with the Taekwondo fighting style, which he learned from his grandfather, and has in his history about 299 confrontations, with 297 victories and 2 draws. One day he is invited by a man to participate in a tournament that is named after the comic, but he only agrees if he is defeated by the mysterious man, who leaves him unconscious with only A punch.
The manhwa of God of Highschool is that typical shonen of fight and it brings good scenes in several moments. However, one of the strengths is the issue of improving skills, characteristic of the Japanese shonen style. The anime is being released weekly by Crunchyroll.
3rd Tower of God
One of the darlings of fans, Tower of God conquered a lot of people, both in animated version and in comics. The story of Baam, a boy who lives in the lowest part of a mysterious tower full of magical floors. After his best friend leaves him and enters the tower, Baam enters the tower, as an Irregular, and begins to advance and unravel the secrets that lie throughout each floor of the magic tower.
The Tower of God anime is available on Crunchyroll and is already finished with the first season.
4th Noblesse
In Noblesse, we follow the story by Candis Etrama Di Raziel – or Rai, who wakes up after 820 years and is faced with the knowledge and technological advances of humanity. The land is no longer the place Rai knew and he soon searches for his most loyal servant: Frankenstein. Frank became the principal of a school and Rai decided to learn all about modernization by staying at the school and getting along with the teachers, students and other staff.
Remembering that Noblesse, a work by Jeho Son and Kwangsu Lee, is also getting its anime adaptation and will be part of Crunchyroll's Originals label for 2020. The production was confirmed to be from the Production studio. IG
5th The Gamer
Finally, finishing our list of reading recommendations, The game tells the story of Han. Han Je-Han is a seemingly normal student who suddenly develops a somewhat strange ability. Je-Han can see other people's statuses, just like in RPG games.
When commenting on his ability with his best friend, Shin Sung-Li, he reveals the mysteries of the world in which they live. The RPG elements here develop from the fights and strategies that the comic covers. Je-Han's growth occurs with the maturation of his choices and the knowledge he gains as he advances in the plot.
