After several "endings", and the feeling of the manga being rolled up by the fans, after all, the story didn't seem to have anywhere to run, it was already completed, but something more always emerged in the nanatsu no taizai manga. Bringing the fans the feeling that they were pushing something more, sometimes even unnecessary.
Some may speculate that the tax revenue from the third season of the franchise may have worn out and helped end the manga. After all, the author himself Nakaba Suzuki, some time ago he revealed that he already had an ending planned for Nanatsu and that he planned to complete the story in something close to 40 volumes.
Confirmation of the ending on volume 41, which will be released on May 15, came in its predecessor, in volume 40 of the manga that came out this week in the author's note. After announcing in May of last year, that the plot would be reaching its climax, although it has continued to publish since then… With the author stating that he intended to finish the work in about a year, and well, they will comply.
About Nanatsu
The manga is written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki, published in the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine starting on October 10, 2012, has 40 volumes already released and will end in volume 41 on May 14, 2020. Nanatsu no Taizai has already received three anime adaptations and a movie:
- Nanatsu no Taizai (2014) – 24 episodes +2 specials. / First season.
- Imashime no Fukkatsu (2018) – 24 episodes / Season two.
- (film) Tenkuu no Torawarebito (2018).
- Kamigami no Gekirin (2019, still running) / Season three.
As of January 2015, the manga Nanatsu no Taizai sold over ten million copies, as a result of the success of the first season.
