First, I want to say that at first, a total of three videos with alleged UFOs were made available by the Pentagon, these videos were recorded by navy pilots during flying exercises. During the flight, naval officers recorded unidentified flying objects that moved at high speeds.

According to the Pentagon, the footage was recorded 1 in November 2004 and 2 in January 2015, although they are not “unpublished” videos, since they have already been leaked before by the New York Times.

In the footage you can see the incredible speed at which they move. The pilots' report reinforces this. However, check out the footage:

Why reveal the footage now?

According to the Department of Defense, the intention in officially releasing the UFO footage is to clear up public misconceptions regarding the veracity of the footage that is circulating. Even with studies referring to filming, the phenomenon continues to be categorized as unidentified. But the release of the footage could end up raising new speculations, rumors and conspiracy theories, that the US government keeps more information about it and rekindling the "flame" of curiosity of the world's population with the so famous 51 area.

The Social Networks

The subject dominated Twitter this Tuesday, so far # UFOs has more than 416,000 mentions on twitter! However, it is clear that Brazilians would not pass up the opportunity to make memes! Some, besides memes, are remembering and going up to # of Chico Xavier's prophecy, the prophecy of the Deadline, in which humanity would begin to undergo a profound transformation, with a series of events taking place, but not being treated according to him with the end of the world is the beginning of a new era.

The beginning of UFO reports

Very difficult to say precisely when reports began to surface of people claiming to have seen a UFO. But for many, the considered first report is that of the American pilot Kenneth Arnold on June 24, 1947, when he was flying over the mount rainier, in Washington. This first report also gave rise to the expression “flying saucer“, as Kenneth claimed to have seen 9 objects in a shape that resembled discs.

The most famous sighting case

The Roswell case is probably the most famous event involving UFOs. Occurred in 1947 in New Mexico, according to reports, a flying saucer crashed on a rural property in the region, and several military personnel were seen collecting the remains of the object. Reports have denied that they were the remains of a spacecraft, and that they were actually the remains of surveillance equipment. But it didn't, and to this day it is believed that it was extraterrestrial material and that the government keeps it a secret.
