Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has a remake revealed by Ubisoft during the forward, company's online event. However, despite being so acclaimed and requested by fans, what was presented divided opinions.
One of the most successful franchises of the Playstation 2 era was undoubtedly Prince of Persia, but it was forgotten over time by Ubisoft, its producer. There is always an appeal from fans either for remakes or for investment in new games. But for a long time we only had silence from Ubisoft.

A day before the reveal during the Ubisoft Forward, reports about it had already leaked. Starting there a mixture of excitement and "flea behind the ear" on the part of the Fans.

But why, even with ubisoft heeding the fan request, has it become worrying? Well, some fans are claiming the lack of quality in the games. Some believed that the problem was in the leak, and that it had no quality, but as shown in the trailer it really is.
What are the problems?
Part of the complaints that dominated after the announcement were related to graphic quality. Texture issues, Character design, etc. But what is the problem? Doesn't look like late-gen graphics! They look like last generation game graphics ( Ps3 and Xbox 360), not late ps4 and xbox one, even more with late PS4 games, having backward compatibility on the PS5 that is already coming.
Another problem seen was related to the price. High values were already expected, but really surprised due to the apparent quality of the game, 179.99 reais (value for PC);
We know that the project to remake the game is being led by Ubisoft India, which has never been in charge of a large project like this, and worked more as a 'support' for the other studios. Not that this is the studio's fault, the developers' satisfaction and pleasure in being able to work with this remake was very visible, but the problem comes from Ubisoft, for not investing enough in the project.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Remake) is scheduled to arrive on January 21, 2021 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One! That is, only 4 months to finish the game, a very short time in case the studio decides to “fix”. Which means that perhaps, due to public pressure, there is a delay for corrections.
