When will Sonic 2 arrive?
The information regarding the advance in the production of Sonic 2, was confirmed both by Paramount Pictures, the studio responsible for the first film, and by the company that holds the rights to the blue hedgehog, Sega.
However, although there is confirmation of progress in the sequence, as it is still under development, there is no information about the technical issues. What to expect…?

And in a team that wins, it doesn't move, so it leads us to believe that the fidelity of Sonic from the cinemas will remain with that of the games.
The most obvious thing to expect in the Sonic sequel is the presence of Tails, it's an absolute certainty to be present in the movie, since he appeared in the post credit scene. We will likely see the friendship between Tails and Sonic develop.
Nor can we forget about Robotnik who is trapped in another world, will we see how he is going to get back to Earth? Will the mushroom world be further developed? What is certain is that Robotnik will come out of such a world where he is trapped. What reinforces it is that it has been shown that he is committed to surviving and that he will not give up. Probably creating some machine to return to his planet and return to his quest to capture Sonic.
In the same way that Tails will be introduced, an expectation is created for the introduction of two very important and frequent elements in the blue hedgehog franchises: knuckles and the Chaos Emeralds. Knuckles' race was already shown in the first movie, and usually his participation is related to the Chaos Emeralds. So if you have one of the two in Sonic 2 - the Movie, chances are high that the other is too.
