Hey guys, beauty? How are you? Well, I hope so. We all know that TikTok has become a fever in Brazil and in the world and because it has Chinese origin, it is the target of suspicion. In these back and forth involving the name of TikTok, it recently emerged that Walmart and Microsoft are looking to buy shares in the Application.
By all indications, the deal between Walmart and Microsoft involving the purchase of TikTok shares in the US may be closed soon. However, we cannot fail to mention that this business may end up falling by the wayside. TikTok has been waging a “fight” with the United States and perhaps its owners do not want to sell their shares to American companies.
But why is TikTok “fighting” with the US?
At the beginning of this article I said that the application is the target of suspicion for having a Chinese origin. This is because the US claims to be “afraid” of what TikTok can do with the data of thousands and even millions of Americans in its hands.
TikTok has never revealed for sure what types of personal data it has from its users, but it is estimated that there are many. All this mistrust involving the application has already caused it to be banned from some countries such as India, remembering that it is about to be barred from the US as well.
The person who ordered this ban was American President Donald Trump himself. Upon learning of this possible ban, TikTok even threatened to file a lawsuit against the US.
What's the Purpose of Walmart and Microsoft Buying TikTok?

Walmart said in a statement that it intends to reach new customers in a new marketing strategy and that the US can only win. Walmart had in January intended to create a service called Walmart+, this service would rival Amazon+. With the acquisition of TikTok by Walmart and Microsoft, Walmart sees a possible gain of thousands/millions of customers on its possible new service.
- Hitman: Free in Epic Games Weekly!
- Were there or are there volcanoes in Brazil?
- Release: A Total War Saga: TROY is free!
This Walmart service would cost somewhere around US$ 98.00 per year, and that would even include discount at Walmart gas stations and same-day parcel delivery.
However, it is not the first time that names of possible companies that have been interested in acquiring TikTok have appeared on the market. Companies like Facebook, Netflix, Alphabet, parent company of Google, Twitter and even Apple have already had rumors leaked about wanting to acquire TikTok.
Most likely TikTok will end up based and selling its shares in the US to some company. The mood between TikTok and the US is so tense that TikTok itself Donald Trump has already taken a public stand. Finally, the president ordered the banning of the app in the country. With this, we can clearly see that the Chinese company is being forced to sell its shares on the grounds that the app is a national threat.
