Without a doubt, WandaVision managed to win the hearts of fans! Even with the first two episodes causing fans to split whether they liked it or not, with more episodes being released every Friday, there was more and more talk of WandaVision. But this week, unfortunately, the series will come to an end, on March 5th with its 9th and final episode.
And with the arrival of this last episode, fans are already starting to wonder about a 2nd season of WandaVision, after all, there are series that even before reaching the public already have new seasons confirmed, and WandaVision is already close to its last episode and even now nothing... But even with all the success, including the series being considered the most popular in the world since its fifth episode.. Matt Shakman The Scarlet Witch series director has bad news for fans.
No plans for a 2nd season of WandaVision
In an interview with Collider, Matt said the following:
I love working at Marvel. It's the best place in the world. They're so good with the filmmakers and I've had a great journey with this show. We have no plans for WandaVision season 2 – that could change, of course. It all depends on what the story is. We were very focused on telling this story over the course of nine episodes and hopefully coming to a conclusion that feels both satisfying and surprising.
The director literally gave the fans a cold shower, but did not rule out the possibility that in the future new arcs of the character will be adapted into a series format. Even if it's just for an introduction to something bigger to come to theaters.
However, this in a way was already expected by the fans. After all, it was always made clear that the series served as an introduction to the new phase of the MCU, even serving as a bridge, for Doctor Strange's solo film. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness will be the second movie of the Sorcerer Supreme in the MCU and it has already been announced that it will have a direct link to WandaVision.

Although WandaVision is coming to its finale later this week, and has no predictions for a 2nd season, we won't be without Marvel series for long! After 1 week without any content from the series that are part of the MCU, we will have the arrival of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, in the second half of March!
Anyway… Let's hope that WandaVision gets a new season, later on, and that it's as good as the first! But until then, we won't run out of content! Looking forward to Falcon and the Winter Soldier?
