The PlayStation 5 (PS5) has just had its price and release date in Brazil. The new console arrives in the country on November 19 for R$ 4,499, in the digital version, and R$ 4,999, in the Ultra HD Blu-Ray player edition. Pre-orders are available starting this Thursday (17th) at selected retailers. Sony made the announcement in national territory this Wednesday (16), shortly after the end of the digital event "PlayStation 5 Showcase“, in which it presented new games compatible with the console.

Among the highlights of the broadcast are Final Fantasy XVI, a new God of War, Hogwarts Legacy, remake of Demon's Souls and details of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. However, it is worth mentioning that the competition, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S cost US$ 499 (R$ 2,609) and US$ 299 (R$ 1,563), respectively. However, Microsoft has not yet announced the prices of videogames in Brazil.
During the broadcast, SONY added several games to the portfolio of the new PlayStation 5. Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, Final Fantasy 16, Hogwarts Legacy, a new God of War and Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach are highlighted from the conference. In addition, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and a remake of Demon's Souls also appeared at the event. According to SONY, the titles have a suggested launch price between R$ 249 to R$ 349 on PS5.

God of War
Brace yourselves, ladies and gentlemen, as God of War has just been officially announced by Santa Monica Studios. The new sequel to the acclaimed title released in 2018 was shown this Wednesday afternoon (16), during the PlayStation event. The new game will arrive on PS5 in 2021. The disclosure trailer is just a teaser and for now neither Kratos nor Atreus have been shown; but, it was enough to leave a taste of “I want more”.
Hogwarts Legacy
The time has come to be a wizard on the new console generation, and this time with the highest quality, and performance that the new generation has to offer. A new game from the Harry Potter universe was announced during the PlayStation 5 special event. Apparently, the game will be set in Hogwarts' past, in the late 19th century, long before the adventures of the little wizard with the lightning bolt scar.
The player will control a wizard who holds the "key to an ancient secret that threatens to divide wizarding civilization", according to the description on YouTube. Open world RPG, Hogwarts Legacy will take the player beyond the school castle, through the Forbidden Forest and also through the friendly Hogsmeade.
Final Fantasy XVI
After several rumors denied, it seems that the speculations were real: Final Fantasy XVI was announced today (16) during the PS5 event. Square Enix's new RPG is confirmed as a PlayStation 5 exclusive and looks very promising. But it doesn't end there, the game will also come to PC.
In the video above, we see a story following in the footsteps of the classic franchise, with lots of magic, crystals and more. Also, we see the summons Ifrit, Shiva and others. The combat seems to follow the elements we saw in Final Fantasy VII Remake and will be a lot more action.
