Black Clover has finally revealed how Asta feels about finally being able to see his mother with the newest installment in the series! Before the start of the attack on the Spade Kingdom, a look into Liebe's tragic past revealed that the devil who now bonds with Asta actually once lived inside Asta's mother and considered her his own mother as well. And the similar appearance both also makes this brotherhood even cooler, given the perfect combinations that this duo forms.
Through this flashback, fans can see his tragic fate unfold, and the fight against Lucifero brought all those bad memories back to the forefront, as Asta himself saw all these moments unfold as he connected more deeply to Liebe with his advanced Union. of the devil.
While Liebe had realized that Asta was Licita's son and even Lucifero had found out as their fight continued, it seemed that Asta himself still hadn't realized that the woman he saw in Liebe's memories was actually his mother. But with the fight over and the newest chapter exploring the immediate aftermath of Asta's latest victory, it is revealed that he actually realized that his mother had died years earlier. And his reaction to discovering all this is as Asta as fans of the series would expect.
Asta and Liebe on their new journey! Towards being the Wizard King of Clover.
Chapter 331 of Black Clover we can see Asta and Liebe sitting and talking after everything that has happened, and it is here that Asta thanks Liebe for the opportunity to actually see his mother. He reveals that in reality he was never really angry that she abandoned him as a child. However, just discovering that she really loved him was enough to make him happy.
As fans have seen in previous chapters, Licita only had to abandon Asta as a baby because her ability forcibly drained the mana and life force from all the organic materials around her and so there was no other choice left.
Now, Liebe, in turn, thanks Asta for the opportunity to get his revenge on Lucifero. And with that, we have a new direction and a new journey that was waiting for us. Now, the two brothers are stepping forward to help Asta fulfill his own dream of becoming the Wizard King someday.
So it's only a matter of time to see what these two brothers can and cannot make that happen, as this ugliest part of both pasts has been officially left behind after Lucifero's defeat. However, we can see that there is still a lot more darkness coming your way, with the next arc set to enter the final season of the manga. Becoming another one that is close to its closure.
