My Hero Academia Vigilantes debuted two years after the introduction of the story that brought us the heroes of UA Academy, exploring a very different part of the universe that didn't follow the students of Class 1-A but instead focused on vigilantes like Crawler, Pop Step and Knuckle Duster, to name a few.
These heroes operated in the shadows and dealt with problems that Deku and his friends rarely found themselves facing. Thus giving fans a new style of storytelling that explored the underworld of hero society beyond the reach of One For All and All For One.
My Hero Academia is at its end in the pages of the Shonen manga. After all, with Deku and his friends facing off against All For One and his forces within the League of Villains for what might be the last time, and while the anime adaptation has ways to go before it gets to this point, its end is on its way. Fortunately, there is still an important part of the universe created by Kohei Horikoshi that has not yet been translated into the anime world and it is time to Crawler and the heroes of Vigilantes have their own show.

Important aspects in My Hero Academia Vigilantes
Another important aspect in My Hero Academia Vigilantes is the fact that it needs to be shown in an animated series is its flashbacks. In addition to following Crawler and his allies in fighting crime, the series also seizes the opportunity! This is so that it is possible to explore the past of several important characters in the realm of the main series, more specifically characters like Eraserhead, Present Mic and Midnight.
In the last season of My Hero Academia, we got to see Aizawa and Present Mic come face to face with the disturbing truth that their former best friend, Oboro Shirakumo, had been turned into a high-profile Nomu. Oboro himself was now Shigaraki's guardian, bearing the name Kurogiri and being brought back from the dead to fight for All For One's goals.
Aizawa's Past, Present Mic and Oboro
In My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, we can see the relationship between the Aizawa form, Present Mic, and Oboro, seeing their early days as students at UA Academy. This, while working to master their quirks while also planning to open a business of their own one day.
The revelation of Kurogiri's identity hits a lot harder if you're aware of the past Oboro had with his heroic friends, and it's something that is lost on anyone who hasn't kept up with this spin-off story.
That is, if The Watchers getting their own anime, not only would it give us more stories within the world of My Hero Academia, but it would fill in some major gaps when it comes to the lives of some of the biggest players in the franchise.
That is, it is a manga that has a lot to contribute to the original story of Kōhei Horikosh! I bet many fans of the work would like this adaptation.
Protagonist of the work in Vigilantes
The protagonist in My Hero Academia Vigilantes is Koichi Haimawari, also known as Crawler and formerly as Nice Guy. Being the main protagonist of the spin-off manga series.
Like many as a child, Haimawari was inspired by Japan's greatest hero, All Might, to one day become a professional hero who would save those in danger. However, Koichi never obtained the necessary qualifications to become a professional, instead taking the path of an illegal vigilante known as the "Nice Guy" who helped outlaw society.
However, he eventually teamed up with two other illegal vigilantes called Pop☆Step and Knuckleduster. Thus, forming the trio that became known as Naruhata Vigilantes. Hoping to present himself more seriously, Koichi changed his name from Nice Guy to "Crawler", with the idea that criminals would find it more intimidating. His quirk, called Slide and Glide, allowed Haimawari to glide over smooth surfaces.
