Both Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War are halfway through their respective fifth seasons! So it means it's time for everyone to cool off a bit. To that end, Activision has revealed that new content will come to both games as part of Season 5, Reloaded! Also, it is set to start exactly one week from today.
As a whole, Season 5 Reloaded is set to kick off in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War next week on September 9th. When they go live, both games will receive a slew of new features, mostly in the form of new maps. For Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War! Specifically, the “Zoo” map, which was first featured in the original 2011 Black Ops, will be making a return. Demolition, Modern Warfare 2's popular game mode, will also arrive, no doubt to the delight of many longtime fans. Lastly, Zombies is getting a ton of new features, most notably with the new Armada region.
Call of Duty: Warzone – Season 5 Reloaded
On the Warzone front, the battle royale title will receive two new game modes. The first is called Clash and will have two teams of 50 players facing each other. The second is then called Iron Trials '84 and is set to be a variant of the typical Battle Royale gameplay style that Warzone is known for.
While Warzone and Black Ops Cold War will have their own unique additions, both titles will also share some new features. This is mainly spearheaded by a new event called “The Numbers”. This event is a return to the Black Ops series and will give players rewards for completing certain tasks. Last but certainly not least, Judge Dredd is also set to be a new Operator coming to both games and will serve as a character skin for Beck.
