What to expect from the Season?
We pick up where season four left off, hoping for answers as to what will happen to Lucifer now that he has returned to his throne in hell. We hope that throughout the fifth season of Lucifer, it shows a little bit of his life in hell, and especially how he got out of there again.
But also confirmed by the trailer, is that it will address a little about how the most prominent characters in the work dealt with the absence of Lucifer. With a main focus on the two people closest to him: Mazikeen and Chloe.
We want to know more about his life in hell, and how he dealt with the horde of demons that threatened Chloe's life, as it was the reason that led him to return to his post. Also as demonstrated in the Trailer, we will see the first participation of the best-known angel who had not yet appeared in the previous 4 seasons, Miguel.
But we also discover from the trailer that Michael is actually Lucifer's Twin brother, and that during the time he is on his "throne" in hell, Michael will try to assume the life he led on Earth. Which will end up generating a disagreement between the two most powerful angels in heaven.

Fifth and Final Season of Lucifer?
After all, will Season 5 of Lucifer really be the last? Whenever a season of Lucifer is about to be released, there are comments about it. After all, the show was supposed to have ended still in its third season, with fox coma ending production. But Netflix acquired the streaming rights to the production and also produced the fourth season itself which was released on the platform on May 8, 2019.
And it also confirmed last year, the production of the fifth season, which due to the pandemic ended up delaying... But it also ran the risk of being the last one since there was no information regarding a possible continuation and in addition the actor himself who plays Lucifer Morningstar, Tom Ellis when announcing season 5 has said that it would be the last... However, to our delight, Netflix not only confirmed that Lucifer Season 5 will contain two parts, but also that the sixth season is more than confirmed for 2021.
The first part of Lucifer Season 5 will hit Netflix later this month on August 21st! While the second part has not yet received a date, but soon, especially with the arrival of the first part, more information will be released about it.
