With unique and extremely skilled Jutsus, it's impossible to talk about Madara Uchiha without remembering the damage he did in Naruto Shippuden. How Madara and Hashirama Met
It's impossible to talk about Madara and not remember Hashirama, after all, they were the two who founded the biggest Ninja village in the anime. But their story began long before they even reached adulthood, that is, the two met when they were children.
Even as children, both met on the bank of a river and began to play, which resulted in a strong friendship. When they introduced themselves, the two chose not to reveal their surnames, for their own safety as there were huge wars at that time between clans. Little did they know that their respective clans were biggest rivals, Hashirama's Senju and Madara's Uchiha.
Over time, their father discovered their friendship and this resulted in a fight between their parents. With that, both were forbidden to see each other and over the years both became leaders of their clans.
After a fight where Hashirama had an opportunity to kill Madara, he refused it and called him to bond. Anyway, both founded a village that began to grow exponentially and receive several clans in addition to the Senju and Uchiha.

Madara Deserta da Vila da Folha
Before talking about Madara defecting from Vila da Folha, I want to tell you that this fact occurred almost 100 years before Naruto was born. But anyway, let's go back to talking about our want Madara who had everything to be the first Hokage. We all know that the first Hokage was Hashirama, but Hashirama himself wanted it to be Madara.
Madara just didn't become the first Hokage because this decision didn't depend only on Hashirama, even this was the last straw for the Uchiha. After learning that he would not be Hokage, Madara leaves the village and starts to confront the now first Hokage again.
In one of those fights with great uses of Jutsus, Hashirama defeated Madara and believed he had killed the Uchiha, but that didn't happen. Before being defeated, Madara bites the First Hokage and takes a piece of his skin, leaving it in his mouth. This bite allowed him to manufacture Hashirama's cells and use them to live for about 100 years and awaken his Rinnegan.

After about 100 years of living and Madara being able to manipulate Obito, he decides to die, so is Madara's story over? No, he manipulated Obito and after almost two decades of his death, Obito declares the fourth ninja war, this war would be of the dead against the living.
Guess who was one of those dead resurrected by Kabuto's Edo Tensei, Obito's ally? It was none other than Madara Uchiha. What a villain are these friends of mine, including Hashirama Senju was also resurrected by Orochimaru and the two old friends were reunited.
