Twitch streamer Edwin “Castro_1021” Castro has a passion for FIFA, and that extended to this year's game, FIFA 22. . But unfortunately, Castro has a tendency to be very passionate about the game, and this is shown in a recent broadcast. Then, on October 5th, Castro was down 2-1 but had the opportunity to equalize at the last second.
Unfortunately, the win eluded the streamer, thanks to the opposing goalkeeper. Castro didn't take the loss well, yelling "game broken" as he slammed his Xbox controller violently against the table before getting up and slamming it to the floor. Readers can find the clip from Twitch right here.
Broken controls can be a common occurrence for some players. Gamers have been breaking controllers in frustration since the birth of the video game industry, but the creation of the wireless controller some 20 years ago has made it significantly easier to do some heavy damage. At least when a controller is wired, it's harder to get momentum, but as Castro proved during the stream, it's easy to actually throw a wireless controller to the ground in frustration.

Of course, given the cost of controls, most players might want to consider keeping their temper in check rather than emulating Castro. The streamer will likely have no trouble replacing it, but a Pulse Red Xbox Series X controller can be found at Microsoft Store for 59.99 U$, which isn't exactly change. But, if purchased in Brazil, the value undergoes direct changes, and may cost R$ 500.00.
For that price, players can get an all-new game or four months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. We all get a little frustrated at times, but it's good to keep a cool head and maybe think twice before smashing a controller into the ground. Maybe look for a good game of relaxation after a difficult game. Castro might want to consider doing this the next time he loses a close one.
FIFA 22 is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Google Stadia and PC.
