One of the topics of the moment is the arrival of the movie King Kong vs Godzilla, and that's why I come to talk about the history of King Kong. It is worth remembering that he was first mentioned in theaters in 1933 and since then his origin has been recounted several times.

The Story of King Kong: The First Movie
It all started when a filmmaker who liked to film wildlife and its creatures decided to go on a great adventure. He decided to go to skull island, but anyone who thinks it was a coincidence and Kong was discovered by chance is wrong. There was no coincidence, the Filmmaker had already spoken in a legend where he reported the existence of a huge monster on that island.
In the midst of this adventure there was an actress, who, upon arriving on the Island, was identified as the "woman of Kong", but by whom? By a tribe of indigenous people who only live on that island and most likely have been there for thousands of hundreds of years.
The Chief of the Tribe even offered 6 indigenous women in exchange for this actress, but this group decided to make another decision, to return home. However, the Tribe ends up choosing to kidnap the actress and offers her to Kong, the huge gorilla who lived on that island.
After many twists and turns, King Kong is captured and taken to New York and named as the eighth wonder of the world. However, this huge Gorilla ends up breaking free and making a tremendous fuss, thus creating the iconic scene of him climbing on top of the Empire State Building.

Well, maybe you don't know but there are 9 King Kong movies each telling their own story involving this huge gorilla. The latest one is slated to come out now in 2021, which is Godzilla vs Kong or King Kong vs Godzilla.

He currently has about 18 appearances in movies and series, including the above works that were dedicated exclusively to him. It is worth remembering that when this character was created, no one expected him to be a tremendous success, however, nowadays almost everyone knows him.
