Anime fans have always had difficulties accessing anime, especially releases officially and legally in the country. Always with a limitation, and also with the same as always on TVs. Which is not a complaint, myself, my first contact with this universe was through open TV, at a time when internet access was not so accessible, and also the official media arrived in the national territory late. But this scenario of difficulty in accessing original and legal content has been improving since the launch of Crunchyroll in the country and with the arrival of services such as Netflix and Prime Video, which have been adding more and more anime to their catalogs, although they have some limitations. But this scenario is about to change once and for all in Brazil, with the arrival of Funimation in Brazil, which will make this world even more accessible.

Launch of Funimation in Brazil
The arrival of Funimation in Brazil, and also in Mexico, including anime dubbed into the language of these 2 countries, was announced on July 3rd. The announcement was made during the FunimationCon 2020, the virtual anime convention made by the company during the 3rd and 4th of July 2020. However, it was only announced that the service would arrive in these 2 countries still in 2020, without any specific date.
But we recently received a date! Funimation br, will be one of the partners of the Online edition of CCXP, and the platform goes live during the event. That is, how the event will happen between the days December 3rd and 6th, the service will reach the country during this interval.
Animes already announced
At all times, the profile of the twitter from Funimation Brasil, has been announcing animes that will be present in its catalog, but which ones will be dubbed there is no information yet. It is worth remembering that Funimation has the right to broadcast some of the most famous anime, old anime and recent anime, which leads to believe that it is just a matter of time, but that its catalog will be quite full and that it will satisfy the all tastes.
Among some of the animes already announced, we have:

- Sword Art Online;

These are just a few names already reported, but the list of anime for which Funimation holds broadcasting rights is quite extensive, including some of the most famous anime in Brazil, such as Dragon Ball, Attack on Titan, Re: Zero, Tokyo Ghoul, Boku no Hero, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Dr Stone, Fire Force. What will happen to the other platforms?
With the arrival of Funimation in Brazil, a question on the part of some people is what will happen with other platforms, such as Netflix and Amazon. After all, Amazon Prime, for example, has anime such as Fruit Basket and Fire Force in its catalog, which, as mentioned above, are part of those licensed by Funimation.
Services such as Prime Video and Netflix will most likely have some anime removed from their catalog so that they can be played on Funimation Br, one of the proofs of this is what happened with Crunchyrol. One of the most watched anime in its Brazilian catalog was Boku no Hero. But the same had its first three seasons removed from the national catalog, being limited only to its fourth season.
