Yesterday premiered episodes 1 and 2 of Hawkeye, a new series from Marvel that will show Kate Bishop taking on the mantle of Hawkeye. Yes, we possibly won't see Clint Barton as Hawkeye anymore after this series finale, which ends a week before the turn of the year.
But how do we know that Clint Barton is leaving the mantle of Hawkeye and will be replaced by Kate Bishop? Usually in the introduction of a new series, it's talked about the main character's life, some trauma that went through and etc...
And yet, Hawkeye began by showing Kate Bishop's vision back in the events of 2012, where New York had been attacked. Kate was still a child at the time, she ended up seeing Hawkeye along with the Avengers defending the city and became a fan of the hero.

Does Ronin Appear in Hawkeye Episodes 1 and 2?
In these episodes 1 and 2 of Hawkeye that premiered yesterday on Disney+ he appears and doesn't appear, but what do you mean? It appears because Ronin is Clint Barton, only disguised as a Ninja and nobody knows his identity, except for us, of course.
However, the clothes he wore to commit various crimes ends up in a clandestine auction in New York. The auction is invaded by a gang and in this confusion the Ronin mantle ends up in the hands of Kate Bishop.
She gets dressed and I go out into the city streets, where she ends up being filmed and appears on TV, and then Kate starts getting into big trouble. And in one of these confusions is her being hunted by the Sweater Gang, who believe that Kate is Ronin.
When does Hawkeye happen?
It was not revealed for sure what year Hawkeye takes place, but we do know that it was a few years after Endgame. the movie of Ultimatum takes place in 2022/2023, so everything leads to believe that the series takes place in 2025, about two years after Endgame.
We know this because in episodes 1 and 2 of Hawkeye it was revealed that Ronin hadn't been seen in years. And yet, his last appearance was days before Endgame, following a sort of obvious logic, we managed to get a sense of time.
Who is Kate Bishop?
As we mentioned at the beginning, Kate is a 22-year-old girl who as a child ended up becoming a big fan of Hawkeye. After seeing him in the New York bombing, he decided to learn the Archery technique, in addition to learning Martial Fights.
And because she spends much of her life learning martial arts and archery skills, she is already using this knowledge. In these episodes 1 and 2 of Hawkeye we've already seen Kate Bishop fight and show that she really knows how to fight and hit in general.
