Orlando Drummond, actor and voice actor who became known in Brazil for voicing Scooby-Doo and being Your Peru, dies today at 101. In addition to being Your Turkey and voicing Scooby-Doo, Orlando Drummond has also done other great work and voiceovers, which we'll talk about next.
His death took place in Rio de Janeiro on the afternoon of this Tuesday, July 27, 2021 and the cause has not yet been reported. However, it seems that it must have happened from natural causes, as we know, he was already quite old.
Remembering that in April the actor was hospitalized for a urinary tract infection and ended up staying under medical care for two months.

Orlando Drummond, Actor and Voice Actor Responsible for Marking Generations, dies
Those who are from the oldest certainly knew Seu Peru from Professor Raimundo's school, which was played by our dear Chico Anysio. But of course, in addition to being Seu Peru, Orlando Drummond was also present in other great classics that marked generations.
One of his roles in these classics that marked generations was to provide his voice for several cartoons and series you're sure to know. He was the Alpha in Alf the Stubborn, Popeye, the avenger of dragon cave, Peaceful and Warrior Cat from He-Man and himself Scooby Doo.

Orlando Drummond, the man responsible for being the owner of one of the most incredible records in the world, also dies today. He lent his voice to Scooby-Doo for an incredible 35 years, and that's where his record lives.
