Launched in July 2021, Pokémon Unite has become a real success among a whole community that is both a fan of the Pokémon universe and MOBA games (ex League of Legends, dota). However, the game that made and is still successful here in Brazil can only be played in English or Spanish. This greatly limits the access to the game for people with difficulties in new languages.
But that is about to change! In an announcement made by the game's developers, it was revealed that Pokémon Unite will gain translation into Brazilian Portuguese. In addition to the translation, the announcement brought the information that the game will be part of the worldwide Pokémon competition, the pokemon world championships.
The competition takes place annually in August, but players won't have to wait that long until Pokémon Unite receives the Portuguese translation. Although there is no specific date, it is scheduled for the beginning of 2022.
In addition to Brazilian Portuguese, the game will also receive translation into other languages: Russian, Thai, Turkish, Bahasa (Indonesia) and Hindi (India).
So far, Pokémon Unite is only available for smartphones with the Android system, and iOS, also for the Nintendo Switch. But it is still possible to play on PC, check it out:
What's New in Pokemon Unite in 2022
Along with the translation, in the “big” update at the beginning of the year, new content and characters will be introduced to the game. Soon the game will receive a new game mode, a tournament style, where according to the developers, players will compete on an equal footing, regardless of their Pokémon or items.
Along with the translation and the new game mode, as expected, new Pokémon will arrive in Pokémon Unite. However, there is no information about what they will be. The last Pokémon added to the game were Tsareena and the classic Dragonite.

2021 game of the year
Pokémon Unite launched in 2021 has become a real phenomenon, even managing to take the title of best game of the year for Android in a list made by Google itself. The game debunked big names like League of Legends: Wild Rift, the mobile version of the famous LoL.
