Shingeki no Kyojin is without a doubt one of the greatest phenomena among manga and anime today. Perhaps because its premise is very different from the clichés that dominate the market, the big plot twists, etc. But not everything that's good lasts forever, unfortunately...
It's no surprise that the work was reaching its last chapters, but now we know exactly when we can say goodbye to the Shingeki no Kyojin manga. THE Kodansha finally revealed that Hajime Isayama's manga will conclude in volume 34, which hits newsstands on April 9.
In total, there were 11 years of publication, even with the author saying eight years ago that the work would reach its end within 3 years. But this time there is no escape, according to the author, the work is between 2 to 1% from its completion. The Manga has been serialized since September 2009 in the monthly magazine Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.

And the Anime?
While the manga will come to an end for now, the anime follows the same path, having had its last season released in December 2020, after being postponed because of the pandemic. As everything indicates, the last season of Shingeki no Kyojin will have 16 episodes in total, so the doubt remains, or Mappa studio, knows the ending of the work in advance, and will make it as faithful as possible… Or the anime will have an ending different from the manga?
Another doubt that hangs over the fans of the work is what rushado this last season will be... What can happen in case it doesn't have two parts. After all, just 16 episodes to animate two arcs would all go by way too fast without much room to develop the final plot well.
Another possibility for the end of the work is raised because of Demon Slayer and his movie that has been breaking record after record. What could end up arousing the interest of the studio for a conclusion of the work through a film.
Anyway, the last season of Shingeki no Kyojin is available here in Brazil by funimation and also from Crunchyroll almost simultaneously with Japan.
Anyway, what are you thinking of this final season of Shineki's anime? And for the manga readers, what do you think of the conclusion, is it up to date? Comment!
