When does it debut?
The last information we had about Tate no Yuusha was that the second season was in the production phase, as commented on this article, but even knowing the production, there was only speculation about a premiere forecast for 2021.
However, during Crunchyroll's online event, the anime's arrival on the platform is confirmed for next year (2021). Although it has confirmed the year, it has not been spelled out exactly which season it will arrive in. But given the time in which it is being produced, I believe it will not take long.
Second and final season?
No! Tate no Yuusha will have two more seasons, which was also said during the panel at the Expo. The anime that follows the adventures of the Hero of the Shield in a new world, will have two more seasons.
It is also revealed at the panel that the gap between the release of the next seasons will be shorter, as fans have had to wait relatively long for the second season. This is due to the fact that, unlike the first, the second and third are being produced together.

About Tate no Yuusha
Tate no Yuusha is an Isekai-type anime. Which has as its protagonist a hero who wields one of four legendary weapons, in this case his is a shield. But in this world where the 4 heroes are summoned from different realities, the shield hero is always treated unfairly and prejudiced. Even having been framed for him, even in his first days as a hero. Which further contributed to further tarnish his image.
Therefore, Naofumi, the protagonist, goes on a "lonely" journey without the help of the kingdom, and the other four heroes. In search of getting stronger, to save that world and be able to return to his reality. As he follows this path, Naofumi forms a group, which little by little grows. Just as your image is cleaning up, as you help people with problems wherever you go.
The first season of Tate no Yuusha aired in January 2019, with 25 episodes.
