Taj Mahal – India

Machu Picchu – Peru

Important political and economic center for the Mayans, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988. Chichén Itzá is formed by the pyramid of Kukulkan (El Castillo), the Temple of Chac Mool, the Square of the Thousand Columns and the Playground of Prisoners. In addition, the site is currently one of the most visited places in Mexico.
Colosseum – Italy
symbol of Roman Empire, the Coliseum is the most famous amphitheater in the world and one of the most important architectural works in the history of humanity! Therefore, it ended up being a stage from gladiator fights to theatrical works in the past. Located in the Italian capital, Rome, the Colosseum (or Flavian Amphitheater) is the largest amphitheater in the world, measuring 45 meters high and housing around 50,000 people.
This cylindrical architectural monument built in Antiquity (around 70 AD) is one of the most emblematic symbols of the Roman Empire. Furthermore, the place was used for great shows! Involving wild animals and fights between gladiators, it is currently one of the most visited places in Italy, and it is possible to find part of its structure.
Ruins of Petra – Jordan
Being a construction entirely carved in sandstone! The Ruins of Petra, which have survived earthquakes and natural corrosion over time, are uniquely beautiful! And this is not for nothing, after all, one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World located in Jordan, in the Middle East, the ruins of Petra represent a historical and archaeological city that was built around 300 BC, being carved into the Nubian sandstone cliffs.
The ruins of Petra have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage category since 1985. Furthermore, the site itself represents what remains of the occupation of various civilizations (Edomites, Nabataeans, Arabs, Romans, Byzantines) which flourished during antiquity. Furthermore, it was gradually partially destroyed by earthquakes that occurred in the region around 550 AD.
Finally, the 7 Wonders of the World are a landmark in humanity, where in each different era, we see unimaginable constructions! But, over time, we also see that there is always a way for many things. So, throughout humanity, we had these constructions that marked our history.
