What are Spellbooks in Archero?
Spellbooks are a new category of equipment that were added as of version 1.4.5 of the Archero mobile game. They are capable of granting the player passive abilities, and abilities that require activation. But in addition to the abilities they grant, they also slightly increase attributes when equipped.
In total so far there are 4 books, two of them on active skills and two on passive skills. And so how to get? Well, the Drop from Spell Books follows the standard, and can either drop when killing mobs in stages or when opening chests.

What is the difference between active and passive skill?
The Spellbooks of active skills, that is, that require activation are the Arcane Archer and the Ice Realm. For their activation it is necessary to double tap the screen, as soon as their activation bar (bar that is below the HP) is complete. Already the Passive Skill Books, which are Enlightenment and Art of Combat, as they activate automatically as soon as the bar is full, will grant you some advantage automatically. But how to fill the bar? Good for the bar to be filled, just kill mobs or take some considerable damage.
Which skill is better, active or passive?
But after all, what is the best type of books, those on active or passive skills? As much as it's good to be able to save your skills for tight moments, and they can really make all the difference. But in our opinion, passive Spellbooks have an advantage over Active ones.
Why? Well, because the activation of books can occur by accident when playing, like in Archero, sometimes you have to move constantly in short intervals, it can happen that you accidentally activate the ultimate ability. Such a move to activate the book can also end up canceling the speed bug, which many players make use of.
What does each Book of Archero do?
enlightenment
The Book of Spells enlightenment, grants the player the opportunity to learn new skills during the game, in the same way that it normally happens when the player levels up, for example. This effect occurs whenever the Ultimate progress bar is full. But unlike skills gained by leveling up, gaining skills from the Enlightenment Book occurs during the game.
Art of Combat
The Book of Spells Art of Combat, provides the player with an increase in the effect of repelling monsters once the gauge is filled. This effect that always occurs when attacking, with the book activated becomes more effective pushing even more, excellent for fighting melee monsters! Arcane Archer

That's why the book Enlightenment is considered by us to be the best book in the game. And the books that we consider best after this one are: Art of Combat, Ice Kingdom and lastly the Arcane Archer.
But the only downside is not being able to decide which skill to acquire, as they come randomly. Though every extra skill or upgrade that comes along makes a big difference.
